Everything you need to know about Can King's trash can cleaning service.

How does trash can cleaning work?+

We clean your bins curbside the day after your scheduled trash pickup. Our service runs Tuesday through Friday, and Friday pickup customers are cleaned the same day in the afternoon after their trash is collected. Our specialized trailer uses pressurized hot water to wash, sanitize, and deodorize each can — then we return them to your curb fresh and dry.

Do I need to be home during service?+

No. Our service is completely curbside. As long as your bins are empty and accessible after your normal pickup, we'll handle the rest.

How do I know when my cleaning day is?+

We text you a reminder the day before service and an email the morning of, so you always have time to get your cans to the curb.

How often should I clean my cans?+

Monthly is ideal for larger households or anyone wanting consistently fresh bins. Quarterly works well for lighter use and seasonal maintenance.

When do you come for service?+

We clean Tuesday through Friday, always the day after your normal trash pickup so your bins are empty and ready. Friday trash pickup customers are the only ones we service the same day — in the afternoon after pickup.

What if my bins are still full?+

Just leave them and we'll skip that cleaning at no charge. We only clean empty, accessible bins.

Do you service recycling cans too?+

Yes — both your trash and recycling bins get cleaned with every visit at no extra charge (up to 2 cans included).

Is there a sign-up fee?+

Nope. You pay per cleaning. Monthly is $30, quarterly is $40, and one-time is $60 for 1–2 cans.

What cities do you serve?+

Raleigh, North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Youngsville, and Wendell. New service areas added regularly.

Do you require a contract?+

No long-term contracts are required. However, we kindly ask that monthly and quarterly customers stay with us for at least 3 services.
